With approximately 5.5 million visitors, the Europa-Park is the most visited leisure park in the German-speaking area. Since 2016 visitors have bought their tickets at one of the seven Fischer ticket machines at the park's entrance area. The machines have been developed especially for the use in leisure facilities and are therefore optimally equipped for high loads. The devices are designed for contactless payment: visitors can pay via debit card. Furthermore, they can redeem vouchers using the integrated barcode reader.
