Hering operates numerous sanitary facilities throughout Germany under the WC-fresh label – all equipped with Fischer machines. The machines that were specially developed for Hering's facilities (especially at train stations), are characterised by a new hardware that facilitates features, such as network connection or user guidance via a graphic TFT monitor. The Hering voucher system is standard in most Deutsche Bahn centres at train stations; hence travellers can redeem their vouchers at one of the participating partners at any train station.
